Absa and Women in Tech Africa Champion Positive Strides in Technology – IT News Africa

Absa has collaborated with Girls in Tech (WiT) to shine a highlight on outstanding girls from Africa who innovate, encourage, and remodel the know-how trade. This joint effort culminates within the upcoming Girls in Tech Africa Awards, scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2023, in Cape City.

The awards program goals to empower and have fun the constructive strides that girls from throughout the African continent have made within the know-how trade.

Now in its second 12 months, the awards program contains classes starting from Girls in Tech Begin-Up, Aspiring Teen, Most Disruptive, and International Management awards. Absa proudly sponsors two awards. The primary is the International Management Girls in Tech Award, celebrating an distinctive feminine chief who has made a outstanding international affect by way of excellent management and transformative change within the know-how sector. The second award is the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing a lady who has devoted her profession to the know-how trade, constantly contributing to its development and leaving a long-lasting legacy.

The winners in every of the WiT Africa Awards classes will likely be shortlisted for the WiT International Awards, scheduled to happen in Dubai in November 2023.
