Absa Powers Up: Partnering for Sustainable Energy at Bizweni Campus

Absa has partnered with its workers and Solar Alternate, the worldwide photo voltaic leasing platform, to finance a solar-with-battery system for Bizweni Campus.

The 29 kW photo voltaic plus 44 kWh battery mission, now offering clear and uninterrupted electrical energy, helps a variety of providers provided by  Bizweni Campus in Somerset West. This features a pre-primary faculty, a major faculty, and a middle for youngsters with disabilities.

The photo voltaic plant is predicted to lower Bizweni’s municipal electrical energy invoice by roughly 30%, whereas the built-in battery will shield the campus from load-shedding disruptions. Bizweni Campus is projected to stop roughly a million kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions over the mission’s 20-year lifespan.
