Safaricom has in the present day elevated M-PESA transactions restrict to KSh. 250,000 for every transaction. The transfer will see the addition of a brand new transaction band of KSh. 151,000 to KSh. 250,000 for Ship Cash, Lipa Na M-PESA BuyGoods, PayBill and all different transactions.
“We welcome the transfer by the Central Financial institution of Kenya to extend M-PESA transaction limits to KSh. 250,000. The elevated transaction limits are a well timed intervention as they may present clients and companies with further comfort when doing enterprise empowering them to do extra from their telephones,” stated Peter Ndegwa, CEO – Safaricom.
The elevated transaction restrict follows approval by the Central Financial institution of Kenya and comes on the heels of the earlier approval for day by day restrict and M-PESA restrict will increase to KSh. 500,000 per day from 14th August 2023.
Present most transaction charges will apply throughout the brand new bands together with KSh. 108 per transaction for Ship Cash.
