Chinese language firms have gained floor in world patent holdings within the cybersecurity expertise sector amid rising U.S.-China tensions, in accordance with a report from Nikkei Asia on Sunday.

Chinese language companies similar to Huawei and Tencent accounted for six of the highest 10 world patent holdings within the cybersecurity expertise sector as of August, primarily based on knowledge compiled by Nikkei in cooperation with U.S. data companies supplier LexisNexis.
