Starbucks mentioned it needs to renew contract talks with the union representing its baristas, beginning in January.

Saturday marks the two-year anniversary of the primary unionization of company-owned Starbucks cafes within the U.S. Since then, greater than 360 areas have voted to unionize, representing about 4% of the corporate’s complete U.S. company-owned footprint.
