US and Canadian vacationers now not want a vacationer visa to go to Turkey

Following a presidential decree, Turkey (often known as Turkiye) has lifted its tourism visa necessities for six new nations — together with the US and Canada.

The decree, signed by Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Dec. 22, has largely slipped beneath the radar. It was introduced within the Turkish Official Gazette on Dec. 23 and applies to vacationers visiting Turkey from the U.S., Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

Residents of any of those six nations can now spend 90 days in Turkey in any 180-day interval with out the necessity to apply for a journey visa.

The announcement comes as a part of a broader effort by Turkey to enhance worldwide relations and journey accessibility.
