JetBlue appoints business vet and returning government as new president

JetBlue is coming full circle.

The airline introduced Wednesday that longtime airline business vet Marty St. George will be part of the provider as its new president later this month. St. George replaces Joanna Geraghty as she takes excessive job from outgoing CEO Robin Hayes.

St. George, who has greater than 30 years of expertise within the business, most lately served as chief business officer at Santiago, Chile-based LATAM Airways. He joined that provider in 2020.

Most notably, St. George spent 13 years of his profession at JetBlue, from 2006 by 2019. He held quite a lot of roles throughout community planning, advertising and marketing and business capabilities, together with 4 years as government vice chairman and chief business officer.

St. George was concerned with creating and deploying JetBlue’s premium Mint product and, in line with the airline, was “a key architect of the provider’s focus metropolis technique.”

I am desperate to get to work to assist drive the enterprise ahead for the good thing about our crewmembers, clients, and house owners alike.”

Earlier than becoming a member of JetBlue, St. George held quite a lot of community planning and advertising and marketing roles at United Airways and US Airways.
