BEIJING — China is about to extend protection spending this 12 months by 7.2% to 1.56 trillion yuan ($230 billion), in line with a draft launched Sunday by the Ministry of Finance.

China’s protection funds grew by 7.1% final 12 months to 1.45 trillion yuan, quicker than the 6.8% improve in 2021 and 6.6% climb in 2020, in line with official information.

In 2019, China’s protection spending rose by 7.5% to 1.19 trillion yuan.
