The Division of Communications and Digital Applied sciences and Cisco have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a brand new part of the Cisco Nation Digital Acceleration (CDA) Program in South Africa.
Ms. Nonkqubela Jordan-Dyani, the Director-Basic of the Division of Communications and Digital Expertise (DCDT), and Ms. Smangele Nkosi, the Basic Supervisor of Cisco SA, signed the MoU. Honourable Minister Mondli Gungubele and Mr. Chuck Robbins, Cisco’s Chair and CEO, oversaw the signing ceremony.
This MoU outlines the continuation of the collaboration between Cisco and DCDT, which was initially launched as a three-year program in 2019. The subsequent part of this system will give attention to financial improvement, digital abilities and expertise improvement, sustainable important nationwide infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the digitization of presidency companies. As a part of the CDA Program, Cisco will proceed to help South Africa’s long-term digital abilities motion, contributing to the nation’s digitization agenda.
