Syrian state media reported on Monday that an Israeli missile assault focusing on the neighborhood of Syria’s capital, Damascus, had killed 4 troopers and wounded 4 others.
The report, which cited an unidentified army supply, stated the strike had occurred at about 2:20 a.m. and had come from the course of the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in 1967 and later annexed.
