IVORY COAST : Native cocoa companies battle for slice of sustainable beans pie

The Groupement des Négociants Ivoiriens (GNI), which brings collectively the principle nationwide cocoa merchants in Ivory Coast, has undertaken to persuade the federal government to introduce a compulsory share of licensed sustainable beans within the 20% of worldwide contracts reserved for them.
