JetBlue launches 1st livery refresh

JetBlue is getting a makeover.
The New York-based provider unveiled plans for its first customary livery refresh. It has a brand new blue paint job adorning all the plane physique and options patterned tail fins.

An Airbus A321 (registered N982JB) that features JetBlue’s Mint enterprise class is the primary plane to obtain the brand new paint job, and it’ll go into service on Thursday, June 15. JetBlue plans to repaint all its present plane, minus ones with particular liveries.
“The brand new livery helps us stand out amongst a sky of legacy carriers and is a shocking reflection of our position as a disruptor that uniquely combines decrease fares and nice service,” Jayne O’Brien, JetBlue’s head of promoting and loyalty, stated.
The makeover is a marked distinction to JetBlue’s present livery, which has an easier white physique with a blue tail fin. The New York-based provider stated it wished its newer and extra colourful livery to replicate its position as an “industry-disrupting model.”
The Airbus A321 plane (that would be the first to obtain the brand new design) will embrace a mint-and-white tail fin sample to point that it contains the Mint cabin class. Different plane could have different patterns and accent colours as a part of the redesign.
