On Feb 3, 2023, Mido Cyber Academy’s 2023 cohort celebrated commencement with mother and father, sponsors, and supporters.

In 2023, The UK’s Overseas, Commonwealth, and Growth Workplace (FCDO), in partnership with KnowBe4 Africa and MiDO Applied sciences, established the MiDO Cybersecurity Academy, aiming at underserved communities throughout the Western Cape.

“The FCDO is striving to assist remedy the issue of cyber talent shortages on the continent by their Africa Cyber Programme (ACP), which goals to enhance secure digital entry, convey excluded populations into the digital financial system, cut back poverty, and stimulate inclusive financial progress in South Africa,” says Victoria White, First Secretary – Political (Cyber) on the British Excessive Fee in South Africa.
