Oil prices jump after U.S., Britain strike on Houthis in Yemen

Oil costs rose after Britain and the USA carried out army strikes in opposition to targets in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, as tensions within the Pink Sea mount additional.

International benchmark Brent was buying and selling round 4% greater at 6 a.m. ET Friday, $80.55 a barrel, whereas the U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures climbed 4.22% to $75.07 per barrel.
