Paving the Way for Cutting-Edge Cloud and Cyber Security in Africa

Liquid C2, a subsidiary of Cassava Applied sciences, has formally entered right into a strategic partnership with Google Cloud in Africa. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on November 10, 2023, signaling the graduation of this impactful collaboration. This partnership is a major milestone for Google Cloud because it expands its presence in Africa’s cloud and safety options market. Liquid C2, recognized for its fast development and robust regional presence, is a perfect associate for Google Cloud.

Oswald Jumira, CEO of Liquid C2, highlighted the potential of this partnership: “Our collaboration with Google will empower our enterprise, public, and SME clients to leverage the capabilities of Google Cloud, enhancing their knowledge analytics and safety postures with the newest AI-driven instruments. Our multi-cloud technique aligns with Cassava Applied sciences’ pan-African knowledge facilities and fiber broadband digital infrastructure, key enablers of our imaginative and prescient for a digitally related future that features each African.”

Umesh Vemuri, VP of Strategic Pursuits at Google Cloud, emphasised the dedication to speculate USD 1 billion within the area and the aim of accelerating digital enablement for African companies and governments. The partnership will think about three major resolution areas:

1. Helping clients in successfully integrating and leveraging their knowledge by analytics and AI, breaking down knowledge silos and maximizing knowledge potential.
2. Offering clients with cybersecurity experience and options to safeguard their knowledge and property, using instruments and practices like Chronicle and Mandiant options.
3. Enhancing collaboration and creativity by providing entry to highly effective collaboration instruments reminiscent of Google Workspace, enhanced by generative AI (Duet AI), enabling groups of all sizes to work creatively and productively from any location with safety built-in into the design.
