This bold initiative shares tales from Africa by Africans.

Design Indaba collaborated with Google Arts & Tradition on this brand-new, cross-continental undertaking. With a purpose to inform the complete story of such a various continent, we approached 60 African creatives and requested them every to create a novel work that depicts their residence nation by the symbolism of coloration.

On the identical time we requested what being African meant to them. The ensuing works and ideas provide private insights into African lived experiences and add the ever evolving kaleidoscope that’s the African continent.

The tales of every artistic have been woven into a vibrant tapestry which is on the market on Google Arts & Tradition.
