Singer Tina Turner has died on the age of 83 after an extended sickness, in response to an announcement posted on her official Fb web page Wednesday.
“It’s with nice unhappiness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. Together with her music and her boundless ardour for all times, she enchanted hundreds of thousands of followers world wide and impressed the celebrities of tomorrow,” the assertion stated.
“At the moment we are saying goodbye to a pricey good friend who leaves us all her best work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her household. Tina, we are going to miss you dearly,” it continued.
Extensively known as the Queen of Rock and Roll, Turner’s profession spans over 60 years and consists of iconic songs “Proud Mary” and “What’s Love Acquired to Do with It.”
In recent times, Turner had suffered in poor health well being. She was recognized with intestinal most cancers in 2016 and had a kidney transplant in 2017.
In a separate assertion to Sky Information, a spokesperson stated Turner died “peacefully” at her house in Kusnacht, close to Zurich, Switzerland.
“Together with her, the world loses a music legend and a task mannequin,” the spokesperson stated.
